Gunilla Haglundh
var kvällstidningsjournalist och rusade fram i tillvaron. Men i samband
med en förlossning hade hon en nära döden-upplevelse som skulle
förändra hela hennes liv och synsätt.
Boken innehåller bland annat
ett intressant kapitel om själva upplevelsen. Resten av boken skulle
kort kunna beskrivas som en handbok i att leva - utifrån de insikter
författarinnan fick under och efter sin NDU, samtidigt som hon försöker
besvara frågor om gud, livet och döden.
Allting finns av Göran Grip:
Göran Grip är läkare. Som barn hade han två nära döden-upplevelser som
han beskriver i sin bok. Boken är mycket intressant även för dem som är
intresserade av vården i dagens Sverige, av meditation, visualisering
med mera.
Ljuset ur tunneln, I dödens gränsland, Tidigare-livupplevelser, Återföreningar av Raymond A Moody:
Raymond A Moody är en av de flitigaste forskande läkarna kring ämnet
NDU. Han var bland de första med att gå ut med sina iakttagelser av NDU i
sitt arbete. I Ljuset ur tunneln beskriver han forskningen under 10-15
år. Han tar upp kritik och ger sin synpunkt på de "naturliga"
förklaringar som brukar ges till NDU. I boken ingår också detaljerade
berättelser från personer som haft en NDU.
I Tidigare-livupplevelser redovisar Moody sin forskning kring
tidigare-liv-upplevelser. Intressant är att upplevelserna inte i första
hand beskrivs som ett bevis för reinkarnation utan som ett sätt för
människor att komma åt och ta itu med dolda låsningar i livet.
Han
ger olika tolkningsförslag till vad som kan vara källan till
upplevelserna och framhåller att det både finns det som talar emot - och
för - reinkarnation.
Vi upplevde döden av Michael Sabom:
Läkaren Michael Sabom var skeptisk när han först kom i kontakt med NDU.
Mot sin vilja blev han fascinerad och beslöt sig för att studera
fenomenet på ett strikt vetenskapligt sätt till skillnad från Moodys -
som han uppfattade det - anekdotiska sammanställningar.
Intervjuer
med upplevare visade enligt Sabom bland annat att under det att de varit tillsynes
medvetslösa hade de iakttagit saker som hände runt omkring deras
kroppar. Sådant som de inte skulle ha kunnat beskriva utan att verkligen
ha sett det.
Förvandlad av ljuset av Melvin Morse:
Nära döden-upplevelsen är inte bara en otrolig händelse i sig för den
som får den. Man kommer dessutom tillbaka som en förändrad, och ofta
förbättrad, människa. NDUare är friskare, både psykiskt och fysiskt, har
större livsglädje och mindre rädsla för döden.
Dessutom har nästan alla NDUare ökat antal paranormala upplevelser, som sanndrömmar och varsel.
Räddad av ljuset av Dannion Brinkley:
Detta är en av de mest spännande NDU-skildringarna som skrivits ned.
Dannion fick, så som många NDUare, paranormala förmågor efter mötet med
ljuset.
Det är spännande att följa Dannions förvandling från "rötägg" till en varm medmänniska.
Omsluten av ljuset, När hjärtat vaknar av Betty J Eadie:
Betty "dör" under en operation och får vara med om en lång och märklig
NDU. Hon minns dessutom nästan allt av denna upplevelse som hon delar
med sig av i Omsluten av ljuset.
Det kärleksbudskap som hon upplevde har förändrat både hennes eget liv och andras.
I
När hjärtat vaknar berättar hon om dessa förändringar. Särskilt
gripande är skildringen av hur hon hindrar en man från att begå
självmord genom att berätta om vad döden, och livet är.
